Shop Small Contest Rules<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

HJV Limited Partnership and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (together, \u201cVerStandig Media\u201d or the \u201cStation\u201d) is conducting the following contest through Stations: WAYZ (FM), Hagerstown, MD; WBHB (FM), Waynesboro, PA; WIKG (FM) Upton, PA; WLIN (AM) Waynesboro, PA<\/p>

1. Contest Dates:<\/strong><\/p>

Shop Small Contest will begin on November 18, 2024 and end on December 6, 2024, or such other date as VerStandig Media may in its sole decision decide.\u00a0<\/p>


<\/p>

2. How to Enter\/Win:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Go to wayz.com, 1015bobrocks.com, 921thegoat.com, or thelinenews.com to enter. \u00a0Click on the contest link and fill out the entry form and upload a copy of your receipt. If you do not have internet access, you may mail your information including full name, address, phone number, birth date\u00a0<\/a>and copy of your receipt to 104.7 WAYZ, Attention: Shop Small, PO Box 788, Greencastle, PA 17225. \u00a0 During the time contest is being run, each non-holiday weekday at least one entry (\u201cContestant\u201d) will be chosen from the total number of entrants as a winner. The winner will be contacted using information provided on entry and has up to two business days to reply to VerStandig Media confirming prize winner information. \u00a0<\/p>

No purchase necessary option to enter: email your information including full name, address, phone number, and birth date to\u00a0info@wayz.com<\/a> with the subject line \u201cShop Small\u201d for a chance to win a $25 gift card to an area business (subject to availability).<\/p>


<\/p>

3. Eligibility and Limitations:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

Each winner must be a U.S. resident, must have a legal driver\u2019s license or other form of government-issue identification which confirms both their name and birthdate from entry form, and must be at least 18 years old as of the date of the contest entry, as determined by the Station. \u00a0 Current employees of VerStandig Media, their advertising agencies, employees of other radio and television stations in the Hagerstown, MD\/Chambersburg, PA market, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term \u201cimmediate family\u201d includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as \u201cin-laws,\u201d or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household, regardless of relation. One entry per receipt for this contest. Contestants may only win one time during the contest.<\/p>


<\/p>

4.\u00a0Prizes<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>

Each winner will receive a check for the amount of the submitted receipt UP TO two hundred dollars ($200). \u00a0Each email contestant entry chosen to win will receive a $25 gift card to a business chosen by VerStandig Media. The prize amount will be identified at the time of notifying the winning contestant. The number of winners will be based on volume of entries. \u00a0Please allow approximately 5-7 business days from the actual win date to pick up the prize. The Prize must be picked up in person by the winner listed on the prize sheet and they must present valid photo identification, including the address submitted on entry, acceptable to The Station in order to claim the prize, no prizes will be mailed. The Prize may be picked up during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am \u2013 5:00pm, excluding holidays).<\/p>


<\/p>

5. Publicity; Use of Personal Information.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

Each participant, and each winner grants VerStandig Media permission to use their name, voice recording, photograph, or other likeness in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this and any other VerStandig Media contest or promotion for a period of ten years\u00a0[JV1]<\/a>without royalty, remuneration, or other compensation, and agrees to sign a publicity release in this regard prior to acceptance of the prize. \u00a0 [By participating in the Contest, where allowed by law, each winner agrees that VerStandig Media may disclose a winner\u2019s name and address to third parties and to use such information for marketing and other purposes.]\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>


<\/p>

6. Receipt of Prize and Release.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

By accepting the prize, each winner waives any and all claims of liability against HJV Limited Partnership t\/a VerStandig Media, its officers, principals, directors, employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur arising directly or indirectly from the award of the prize or participation in the contest, including the use and operation of the grand prize. \u00a0In order to receive a prize, participants must establish eligibility, identity, and sign a receipt of prize and an official waiver form provided by the Station. Contest sponsors may require a separate waiver and release. \u00a0<\/p>

7. Taxes.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

Any valuation of the prize stated in these rules is based on available information provided to the Station. \u00a0The value of the prize awarded to each winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize won and paying any expenses associated with any prizes which are not specifically provided for in these rules. \u00a0Each winner must provide VerStandig Media with valid identification and a valid social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from VerStandig Media during a calendar year will be reported to the IRS and will receive an IRS Form 1099 with respect to such winnings.\u00a0<\/p>


<\/p>

8. Conduct and Decisions.<\/strong><\/p>

By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Station and its personnel. Anyone who violates any rule, gains unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtains status as a winner using fraudulent means will be disqualified. \u00a0 Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. VerStandig Media reserves the right to seek civil damages and\/or criminal prosecution to the fullest extent permitted by law in connection with attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage, or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest. \u00a0VerStandig Broadcasting will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims, or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the decisions of VerStandig Media concerning such disputes shall be final. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of any prize. \u00a0If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference, or any event beyond the control of the Station, VerStandig Media reserves the right to terminate or extend this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as it deems appropriate, and such decisions shall be announced on air and\/or through notification to each winner. \u00a0The Station may waive or change any of these rules in its sole discretion including but not limited to contest dates, amount or value of the prizes, execution of the contest, or instructions on how to enter and win.\u00a0<\/p>

9. Miscellaneous.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

This Contest is void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants<\/u>. \u00a0The Company may substitute prizes, amend the rules, discontinue, or extend the Contest at any time following broadcast on the Station of such changes. \u00a0For a copy of the rules, or a list of winners within 30 days of the end of the Contest, visit the business office of the Station during normal business hours or send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to VerStandig Media c\/o \u201cShop Small\u201d, PO Box 788, Greencastle, PA 17225 (all mailed requests must be received by December 31, 2024). \u00a0<\/p>
